Let’s Win for America Action Celebrates Successful Inaugural Town Hall in “Candid with the Candidates” Series

ATLANTA (November 16, 2023) – Co-chairs of Let’s Win for America Action (LWFAA) Kelvin and Janelle King celebrate success, as their organization’s coordinated effort with the Atlanta Young Republicans (AYR) resulted in an exciting and informative evening with Governor Asa Hutchinson. LWFAA and AYR hosted Governor Hutchinson at the Park Bench Battery for a presidential town hall just before the Republican debate last week.

As topics ranged from artificial intelligence to woke culture and everything in between, the Kings were elated at how thorough the conversation between Governor Hutchinson and audience members became. Kelvin, who moderated the town hall from the stage, praised Governor Hutchinson and attendees, saying, “We are honored to facilitate authentic conversations between candidates and community members. We created LWFAA to bridge the gap between the Republican party and diverse communities, and as we looked around the room last night, it was clear we were fulfilling that goal.”

Governor Hutchinson conversed with Kelvin on several different topics and took questions from audience members. The crowd was extremely diverse and consisted of many young voters, including students from Spelman College, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, Morris Brown College, Kennesaw State University, and the University of Georgia.

Kelvin and Janelle would like to thank the Atlanta Young Republicans, Park Bench Battery, Governor Hutchinson, and all event attendees for their engagement in what will be a continuing series throughout the 2024 Republican Presidential Primary season.

The Kings encourage all interested in attending their next town hall to be on the lookout on their social media pages for the announcement of the next “Candid with the Candidates” event.
