NOV. 8TH GENERAL ELECTION INFORMATION
Message from the Greene County Board of Elections and Registration on some basic information for the upcoming Nov. 8th General Election
Absentee Ballots by Mail:
1. Applications may be obtained on line at the Greene County website: www.greenecountyga.gov (Elections & Registration/2022 Election Information/Absentee Voting by Mail) or from the Greene County elections office.
2. Applications will be accepted through October 28th and may be submitted in person to the elections office (1180 C. Weldon Smith Drive, Greensboro) or by email (meneshab@greenecountyga.gov) or fax (706-453-9438)
3. The first day for mail out of absentee ballots will be Oct. 11th
4. The last day for an absentee ballot to be received back at our office is Nov. 8th, by close of the polls.
Last day to register to vote for the Nov 8th election is October 11th
Sample Ballots
They will be available on line at the mvp.sos.ga.gov site as of Sept. 24th. We should have samples at the office on that date as well.
Early Voting in Person:
1. All Early in Person Voting will be conducted at the Greene County Board of Elections & Registration Office @ 1180 C. Weldon Smith Drive, Greensboro.
2. Early Voting will be conducted between the hours of 9-5 on the following dates: Monday - Saturday, Oct. 17th to Oct. 22nd
Monday - Saturday, Oct. 24th to Oct. 29th
Monday - Friday, Oct. 31st to Nov. 4th
(EARLY VOTING IN PERSON ENDS ON FRIDAY, NOV. 4TH ! ! !)
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8th
1. Polls will open at 7 am
2. Voters must report to their assigned poll location
3. Assigned poll locations may be found by going to: mvp.sos.ga.gov.

Runoff Election
If a runoff election is needed, the date of that election will be Tuesday, Dec. 6th
